Tura creates cultural experiences that connect us all in meaningful and surprising ways. Through the art of sound – in its many forms and crossovers within a universe of old and new practice – we explore Australian identity and push the boundaries of expression.

Tura 2025 Program Report
We invite you to reflect with us on our artistic output and cultural impact for 2025.
Tura has been a producer and supporter of new music and sound art since its founding in 1987. We celebrate First Nations people and culture by working with and for Indigenous artists and communities within intercultural learning and collaboration frameworks. We facilitate opportunities and collaborations for artists and composers across the national landscape to produce resonant and impactful works.
Through the art of sound – in its many forms and crossovers within a universe of old and new practice – we explore Australian identity and push the boundaries of expression.
